The Governors' Ball was a great success. The paper presentations were engaging and thoughtful. However, there was (few / no / some / several) confusion with what was considered (appropriate / necessary / well-fitted) attire. While some of the guests wore formal dress, others (war / were / wore) sports gear. This has caused some concern regarding the wording of our invitation (as / if / therefore / this) clearly there has been some miscommunication.
