The following instructions will help you to use the printer/scanner efficiently: To Copy: • Place the side of the document you want to copy face-down. • Ensure the copier lid is down. • Press the black button followed by the Start button for a black and white copy. To Scan: • Place the document you wish to scan face-down, as you would if you were making a photocopy. • Use the arrow console to navigate to the ‘Scan’ option. • Press the black button to confirm your selection choices. Cleaning printheads: • Use the arrow console to highlight ‘Maintenance.’ Press the black button to confirm. • Navigate to and select ‘Colour management.’ • Follow the on-screen instructions. N.B. If you are still seeing streaks in your print outs, consider replacing the printheads. See section 3.4 for more information.
